Make a Carrot Wreath for Easter

Richard Patino works on wreath
I was at my favorite Michael's store in Dallas when I noticed Richard Patino busy working on a wreath. He was making a carrot wreath for Easter.

Patino told me it took him only 30 minutes to make one. I have no idea how it is done. Michael's sells Patino's wreaths for $59.99.

It's cheaper to make your own.

I thought wouldn't it be great to add some orange lights and put it on a big wall in your home. Wow!

Here's a video I found on YouTube that shows you how to make a carrot wreath. I hope it helps.

Thanks for the inspiration Richard Patino!

Happy Crafting!

Free Projects: Wreaths, Big Letters and Canvas Decorations

I like finding FREE instructions to wonderful craft projects.  Here are some that I recently posted on my Facebook page "The Best Crafter."  These four projects can be great decorations for your home. You can also make them to fit the Christmas holiday season. Make them as a gift.

FREE Instructions for Rosette Canvas

Though this an easy Valentine's Day decoration, you can also make it to hang in a bedroom or an office. All you need is a canvas, some red paint, red ribbon and get creative. This is a very simple project I found at the blog "Thrifty Decorating."

FREE Instructions for Room Deco Project

A cardboard letter, glue, and paint and create one awesome home decoration. I found this at the blog "Little Inspirations."

FREE Instructions for Mixed-Media Canvas

How many times do you pass a blank canvas at the craft store and wonder "What can I make with this?." Well you don't have to be a professional painter to whip up a creative Mixed-Media project. Here's one courtesy of Michaels.

Free Instructions for a Felt Heart Wreath

This is a beautiful heart wreath that I found by blogger "Classy Clutter." Though this is something you can make this for Valentine's Day, it's also a wreath you can hang in a bathroom or bedroom all year round.

Have fun being creative!

Video: How to Make a Christmas Wreath out of Sandwich Bags

I'm excited, because I'm now writing about crafts and producing "How-To" videos for Mamiverse.com.   I started "The Best Crafters" blog, because you know I love creating and crafting.

Mamiverse.com is aimed at mothers out there who need inspiration, and yes--even in their craft projects.  So that's where I come into the picture.

My first craft assignment was a Christmas Wreath.  This one will surprise you, because I made it out of a wire hanger and plastic sandwich bags.

It's a beauty! Make a bunch of them with your family!

Happy Holidays.
