Bella Butterflies: Art Studio and Boutique

The other day I had lunch in Grapevine, Texas. It's a small city near Dallas.  It was a sunny day so I took advantage of walking down Main Street.  Suddenly, I walk into a store that was like heaven for a crafter--Bella Butterflies.

The wallpaper on one side of the store was just old newspapers. On another side of the room,  the wall was one big chalkboard.  It's a colorful place packed with many handmade products. You can get lost in all the creativity.

Owner, Ashlea Boelhouwer Robertson creates most of the jewelry, canvas art, and much more in this boutique.  She also offers art classes in a back room of the store.

Bella Butterflies 

I chatted with Ashlea and quickly learned here was a woman who followed her passion. She decided one day it was time to open her own store, and sell her own art work.  She shared her back room with me and it was wonderful.  The room was full of every tool she needed to get creative.
